The Dean's Advisory Council (DAC) at the E. J. Ourso College of Business exists to promote and improve the E. J. Ourso College. The accomplished professionals who form the DAC membership are donating their time, talents, and resources to support the Dean in his efforts to enhance the substance and image of the E. J. Ourso College.

Richard Matheny serves as president of the DAC, Peggy Scott serves as the vice president and Carol Calkins serves as the immediate past president. The DAC has five component committees: Business Partnerships, Academic, Financial, Alumni and Public Relations and LSU Business Building Oversight Committee. Each committee has a chairperson, an E. J. Ourso College liaison member, and professionals selected for their enthusiasm and interest in the mission of the individual committee.

The DAC also has an Executive committee, made of the chairs of the five component committees and the Dean, to oversee the administrative functions of the DAC as a whole.
