DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Internship Information Packet
(for Internships other than Internal Audit)

  1. Students
  2. It is your responsibility to see that each of the forms in this packet are completed and turned into the Department of Accounting in the time period indicated. Credit for accounting internship is available to accounting majors only and is limited to three credit hours. You must be an accounting major for at least 1 full semester prior to applying for the internship.

    You must add ACCT 4231 on REGGIE/PAWS before the last day to add.

  3. Request for Permission to Earn Academic Credit for Internship
  4. Forms must be approved by the Department of Accounting prior to last day to add for the semester.

  5. Student's Report of Accomplishment on Internship and Supervisor's Report
  6. Forms must be received by Department of Accounting prior to last day of class of semester in which credit is be earned.

  7. Registration Responsibility
    1. Register for internship class ACCT 4231 on REGGIE/PAWS.
    2. Verify that ACCT 4231 is on your fee bill and follow instructions on the fee bill for returning payment by the deadline date.
    3. Contact REGGIE/PAWS before the last date to add classes to verify enrollment status.

    Please note that a grade of "U" (unsatisfactory) will result if the three forms are not received by the Department of Accounting.

    Please address any questions to your faculty supervisor or to the master's program coordinator.

    IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT TO ENROLL AND PAY FOR THE INTERNSHIP CLASS. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ADDED INTO AN INTERNSHIP COURSE AFTER THE LAST DATE IN WHICH TO ADD COURSES.
