Guidelines:
To participate in the accounting department internship program, a student must have:

• a GPA of 3.0 overall and in accounting courses
• completed ACCT 2001, 3001, and 3021 prior to applying for internship credit
• gained employment that will require at least 20 hours per week and include the direct supervision of a certified individual

Requirements:
To participate, students must:

• Be a declared accounting major for at least one complete semester
• Complete a "Request for Permission to Earn Academic Credit for an Internship" form
• Register and comply with the rules of the Experiential Learning program at LSU
• Register and pay tuition for ACCT 4231 if the intern position is obtained. TOPS deferrals and insurance matters are to be handled by experiential learning through Sue Feinberg at sfeinb@lsu.edu.
• Complete a written "Student Accomplishment on Internship" form
