Students
LSU's accounting department internship program offers
a wide variety of internship opportunities. Employers are local, regional
and national. Students can gain experience from working with small
or large firms and will have the opportunity to work with certified individuals.
These internships help to round out the application of academic knowledge
and share experiential knowledge with the student.
An internship provides you with practical work experience in your chosen
field, and it is intended to complement your academic program and to prepare
you for a successful future career.
The program offers many benefits:
- On-the-job experience that often leads to full-time employment
- Opportunity to work locally or in other cities
- Excellent salary
- Exciting travel
- Meet students from other universities around the country
- Three hours of course credit
Internships are available in the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
Employers who have participated in the internship program in
the past can be found under the "Participating Employers" link.
Interview schedules will be available through Career Services. Employers
like to interview early. Review the list of companies that hire
in respective semesters. Look for the schedule from careerservices@lsu.edu in your inbox.
