About the Economics Club
Our purpose, membership, and officers

The Economics Club is open to all LSU students of any major. At every meeting, a guest speaker will discuss topics from economics. In the past, speakers have brought to us game theory, personal experience in applied economics, and a look at how an economics degree performs in the business world. In additon, there are no dues or attendence requirements and every meeting includes free drinks and pizza.
We are currently headed by Jason Craig, club president. Dr. Sarangi and Dr. Stahl are our club advisors.

Tutoring Through the Economics Club
Tutoring for the economics department is administered through the Econ Club.

We are seeking volunteer tutors to help expand our program. if you are interested about fielding questions in microeconomics (2000), macroeconomics (2010), or money and banking (2035), please let an officer of the club know. We can schedule you to offer tutoring at any time you feel is convenient, although afternoons are preferred.
If you are a student seeking help in economics, please contact an officer of the club or visit with us during one of our scheduled meeting times.
