ELI JONES NAMED DEAN OF THE LSU E. J. OURSO COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
LSU Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Astrid Merget announced that Eli Jones has been named as dean of the E. J. Ourso College of Business at LSU, effective July 1 pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors.

LATINAS LEARNING TO LEAD
The National Hispana Leadership Institute will sponsor a week-long leadership convention entitled Latinas Learning to Lead. To be held in Washington, D.C., this conference will aim to endow young Hispanic females with the managerial and practical skills necessary to succeed in their respective careers.

EDWARDS GRADUATES FROM LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Kirsten Edwards, an academic advisor in LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business and coordinator of the college’s Minority Business Program, was one of 24 graduates honored last December by the university’s Office of Human Resource Management, Training and Development at a luncheon for her participation in its sixth LEAD...Emerge program.
