  • AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

    In consultation with the director of the Public Administration Institute, students enrolled in the Public Administration curriculum will select an area of specialization. Within this area of specialization, students will be able to select 9-hours of elective course work on issues in which they are interested. Students will have the opportunity to use the breadth and depth of the Louisiana State University curriculum to select their electives. The courses do not have to be in the same department; however, they must have a common theme. Students will choose their specialization in the spring of their first year. Some examples of specializations chosen by past students include:
