The E. J. Ourso College of Business needs strong scholarship and fellowship programs to attract and retain the best and brightest students from Louisiana and beyond. Scholarships and fellowships support undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students by helping to supplement the cost of tuition, fees, books, and other costs associated with attending LSU.

Endowed gifts to support students are annuities. Your donation for an endowment provides a dependable source of financial support that will benefit students for years to come. Each year, a portion of the gift's interest is awarded as a scholarship or award, while the remainder is added to the original principal. This continues interminably, increasing over time as the endowment principal grows.

* LSU Board of Regents will match private donations through a 60:40 match. A $60,000 gift will be matched $40,000 by the Regents to create a $100,000 professorship to support top tier graduate and doctoral students.

Donations for scholarships provide students the financial support to further their education. Non-endowed scholarships also allow the college to recruit and retain outstanding students, provide study abroad opportunities, and provide support to students in need.
