    • The LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association has announced that it is establishing a chapter in the Greater New Orleans Area, much like the chapters it has established in Baton Rouge and Houston. An organizational event is planned for January, and those interested in helping to form the chapter are asked to provide input.

    The chapter will hold a social and networking event Thursday, February 4, 2010, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Chimes Wine Cellar on Highland Road at the North Gate of LSU.

    The LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association-Louisiana Chapter will host its annual Christmas party Thursday, December 17, 2009. This year’s event will take place at Chelsea’s Café from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Chelsea’s Café is located at 2857 Perkins Road.

    The LSU Flores MBAAA-Louisiana Chapter will hold its annual meeting Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Enoteca Marcello’s Wine Bar & Café, located at 4205 Perkins Road in Southdowns Village Shopping Center.

    The Flores MBA Alumni Association - Louisiana Chapter will be hosting Louisiana Looking Up 2009 on Thursday, September 17, 2009. This is the sixth year for an event which will accentuate Louisiana's positive business news, serve as a venue to exchange business ideas, and provide a premier networking opportunity. This year's event will be held at Lod Cook Alumni Center from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

    Leon Hirsch
    Leon Hirsch, vice president of Land and Business Development of Woodside Energy, will speak to the LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association-Houston Chapter as part of its Executive Speaker Series on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. The event will be held at UHY Advisors, located at 12 Greenway Plaza Suite 200. Refreshments will be served beginning at 6 p.m., and Hirsch will begin speaking at 7 p.m.
