LSU FLORES MBAAA-DALLAS CHAPTER TO HOLD OCTOBER SOCIAL
The LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association-Dallas Chapter will hold its second official social gathering Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Sherlock’s Baker Street Pub & Grill, located at 9100 North Central Expressway, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Members of the three Flores MBA Alumni Association chapters journeyed back to campus Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 to participate in the LSU Alumni Association’s annual Chapter Leadership Workshop.

For a second consecutive year, the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Flores MBA Program has been ranked in the nation’s Top 10 by the Wall Street Journal among schools that draw corporate recruiters regionally. After debuting in the rankings at ninth last year, the program gained momentum and was ranked seventh this time around.

U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings today traveled to Baton Rouge to recognize efforts in Louisiana to improve student performance by strengthening achievement standards under No Child Left Behind (NCLB), and to announce the award of $30 million to Gulf Coast higher education institutions directly impacted by Hurricanes Katrina or Rita during a seminar with business leaders at Louisiana State University.
