    Center for Internal Auditing
    The Louisiana State University Center for Internal Auditing (LSUCIA) is considered to be the premier internal audit program in the world, providing education available to any LSU student in any major, for both graduate and undergraduate students.

    Division of Economic Development
    The Division of Economic Development and Forecasting conducts applied economics research on a wide variety of topics assessing the impact of potential public policies. The Division also produces the Louisiana Economic Outlook (LEO), which analyzes Louisiana's economy and forecasts the state's employment for the next two years.

    Emerging Markets
    Emerging Markets Initiative — This globalization program seeks to replicate college successes in budding markets like China, Brazil, and India with the three-fold purpose of aiding LSU students in finding business opportunities abroad, helping Louisiana businesses expand beyond state borders, and providing LSU professors the ability to conduct research on business in foreign markets.

    Executive Education
    LSU's Executive Education program provides business acumen and leadership development training to mid-level and senior-level professionals through short courses and workshops. The program serves as an advocate and resource to the business community and the development of their management teams.

    Highway Safety Research Group
    The Highway Safety Research Group (HSRG) has revolutionized the way traffic accidents are reported in Louisiana through the development and use of its software program, LACRASH. This software facilitates changes in traffic policy and ultimately safety on the state's roadways.

    Louisiana Business & Technology Center
    The Louisiana Business & Technology Center (LBTC) endeavors to enhance economic development in Louisiana through the support of existing small business and the development of new businesses. The LBTC provides many invaluable services to small businesses, which in turn ensures the long-term economic success of Louisiana.

    Public Administration Institute
    The Public Administration Institute offers a Masters program in Public Administration (MPA), which emphasizes management and financial skills for individuals leading public agencies, nonprofit and healthcare organizations, and for-profit organizations that interact with governmental agencies.

    Real Estate Research Institute
    The Real Estate Research Institute (RERI) encourages, supports, and conducts research in real estate. The Institute is one of the top publishers in US real estate journals and yearly provides professional outreach to the Baton Rouge Association of Realtors.

    SMART Lab
    The Securities Markets Analysis Research Training (SMART) Lab recreates a simulated interactive trading floor that allows students the opportunity to gain experience in the fast-paced world of securities analysis, research and trading. The lab's networked workstations allow participants to simulate real market conditions, make and analyze live decisions, and interact instantly with one another.

    Stephenson Disaster Management Institute
    The Stephenson Disaster Management Institute was established to help save the lives of people and animals by continuously improving disaster response management through research and education. Vision and a generous donation by LSU alumni Emmet and Toni Stephenson were responsible for the creation of the institute in 2007.

    Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute
    The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, was formed to inspire, innovate, integrate and implement new ways of thinking, education, research and outreach to positively impact students, the regional economy, the state of Louisiana and the nation. Various programs help to address the issues and challenges of entrepreneurship, family business and franchising. A generous donation by LSU alumni Emmet and Toni Stephenson made the continued development of the college's entrepreneurship institute possible.
