Internship Program
Summer 2011

This spring over 200 students from a variety of disciplines will enroll in the "LSU Center for Internal Auditing" program. This will be our twenty-sixth year of operation and eight internal audit courses will be offered at the graduate and undergraduate level.

An integral part of the LSUCIA program is the summer internship program. This past summer many students enjoyed internships with major organizations located throughout the United States. Next summer many students will again benefit from internships.

Two Primary reasons to hire an LSUCIA intern:

1. Excellent recruiting approach
2. Summer audit assistance

Interns placed by LSUCIA:

The LSUCIA program has placed over 2000 students in internships from 1985-2011.

To schedule Interviews:

Contact Stephanie Howington at 225-578-6221 or via e-mail at lsucia@lsu.edu. She will:

1. Schedule interview dates. (Recruiting dates are Feb 23, 2012 to April 27, 2012)
2. Reserve interview rooms in LSU Career Services.
3. Collect resumes from LSUCIA students.
4. Schedule Interviews.
5. Provide you with interview schedule and resumes.
6. If requested, schedule a meeting/lunch with the LSUCIA director, assistant director, or student representatives.
7. Schedule optional activities such as: Class Presentations & Reception for LSUCIA students.
8. Respond to any questions.
