This desire is often a desire to help others to become the best that they can become. In order to do this, it is first beneficial to help understand how to influence others. The steps involved in influencing others is first provide them with: (1) knowledge, (2) attitudes, (3) motivation, (4) individual behavior, and (5) group behavior. These steps explain how people are influenced and even how marketing people strive to influence people and to create certain behaviors. An additional area of concern for franchisees is to develop their sales skills. This will allow the franchisee to help their employees and their staff members to also become expert sales people. Selling is an art and a science. It is generally involved with developing mission statements, probes, opening benefits, listening, supporting arguments, and closing. Selling is a game. Selling is lots of fun. The professional individual is one who has gone through a series of stages and has reached a pinnacle of success. These stages include: (1) beginner, (2) novice, (3) advanced, (4) master, and (5) professional. The professional individual is an individual who desires to help others. The professional is generally one who has overcome personal selfishness and greed and is now working to help others to become the best that they can be
