You are here: Franchisor Book > Franchisee Advisory Councils > FAC-Franchisor Role FAC - Franchisor Role The role of the franchisor in the FAC is fairly limited. Although created by the franchisor, franchisors generally limit their involvement as nonvoting members. They are there for informational reasons and to provide any information or advice which the franchisees may seek. They are generally limited to an advisory role. Generally either the president or one of the top management people are assigned to work with the FACs on a continuous basis. This top management representative is responsible for relaying all information from the FAC to the franchisor operation. This person is also responsible for seeing that such suggestions and advice is adopted or adapted by the franchisor organization.
