Almost all franchisee prospectuses, in addition to the prospectus brochure, UFOC and franchisee agreement will also contain a personal and confidential franchisee application form. This form will basically be divided into the following areas:

  (4) military service

  (5) current employment

  (6) previous employment

  (7) job descriptions/history

  (8) reason for choosing this franchise

  (9) personal financial statements

RULE OF THUMB: The franchisor's evaluation generally splits 50/50 between the individual and the financial information of the prospective franchisee. 

The older, more experiences franchisors assume that you will have sufficient capital to start the initial franchise operation. They are looking for a high quality individual who has strong drive and honest character.
