ICED's Franchisee/Franchisor Relationship

ICED, through it's affiliated franchise companies, provides resources and support in strategic planning, market research, advertising, marketing, public relations, communications, accounting, financial analysis and planning, outside sales, workshops, trade shows and conferences.

ICED supports a staff of more than 150 employees in the department of Franchise Services that help their franchise owners. Their Franchise Support Team provides support during the business hours, and 24/7 help is provided by their toll-free number and intranet.

Franchisee support is provided in the following areas:

Marketing/Sales Operational

ICED franchises recruit and qualify outside sales personnel,  provide a comprehensive training program, a newsletter, recognition, contests and ongoing mentoring. They also offer a telemarketing service. ICED provides sales and marketing support, including assistance in creating and implementing a marketing plan and direct mail services, including development and maintenance of a targeted mailing list, printing and mailing service.

ICED provides a standard web site, as well as individual store web sites with specific information for file transfer and marketing purposes.

General Business Support

For the support of general business, ICED offers franchise owners business-planning assistance, analysis of financial statements, focus groups with fellow owners and assistance with securing funding for new equipment and working capital. They also provide assistance and guidance with human resources, purchasing and pricing issues.

Operational/Technical

ICED offers technical support for printing equipment, improving workflow, evaluating new equipment on a rational, cost justification basis, therefore increasing sales and profits.
