The LSBDC Technology Center at LSU provides assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses to stimulate small business formation, growth and development. Job creation and economic development are the Center’s major goals.

The LSBDC Technology Center at LSU serves small businesses statewide in areas of technology commercialization and technology transfer.We may be able to help you if...

LSBDC Technology Center at LSU serves:
  • Entrepreneurs and existing small business requiring technical, managerial, marketing, and financial advice to help build a  solid foundation for growth and expansion
  • Technology start-up businesses
  • Individuals who require assistance with small business resources and information

Counseling:  Staff, faculty, graduate students, and resource professionals provide confidential one-on-one counseling for the small business community.
Training: 
Seminars and workshops on current practices and changing trends in today’s business world.
Information Resource Center: 
A clearinghouse for business information ranging from how to obtain a business license to obtaining industry and market data.
Technology Transfer:  
Access to resources and expertise within the federal laboratory system and technical assistance to Louisiana companies interested in the Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer Program (STTR).
