J. C. GREER DISTINGUISHED SPEAKER SERIES IN BUSINESS

The J. C. Greer Distinguished Speaker Series in Business was founded in 1979 by Union Life Insurance Company in memory of its co-founder and president J. C. Greer. The Greer Series brings leaders of business, government, and academia to the Louisiana State University campus to address the E. J. Ourso College of Business and members of the Baton Rouge community on current topics and issues. Past speakers have included Gerald R. Ford, 38th President of the United States (1992), David M. Brinkley, anchor of ABC's This Week with David Brinkley (1994), and Robert Novac, syndicated columnist and editor (1996).
