8th Annual Advances in Econometrics Conference at LSU

Maximum Simulated Likelihood

The LSU Department of Economics, together with the Division of Economic Development and Forecasting, and the LSU Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness will host the 8th Annual Advances in Econometrics Conference, November 6-8, 2009, at the Lod  and Carole Cook Conference Center on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  The focus of the conference includes the theory and application of Nonparametric Econometric Methods.

The conference is a companion to the volume Advances in Econometrics: Maximum Simulated Likelihood (Volume 26, 2010) to be published by Emerald Group Publishing Limited.  The purpose of the conference is to bring together authors of papers, a small and highly regarded collection of scholars, for discussion, debate and feedback. The editors of the volume and conference leaders is William Greene, Toyota Motors Corp. Professor of Economics, Stern School of Business, New York University.
