
The LSU Department of Economics, together with the Division of Economic Development and Forecasting, the Real Estate Research Institute and the LSU Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness will host the 11th Advances in Econometrics Conference, February 17-19, 2012, at the Lod and Carole Cook Conference Center on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The focus of the conference is research related and inspired by the work of Jerry Hausman.
The conference is a companion to the volume Advances in Econometrics: Essays in Honor of Jerry Hausman (Volume 29, 2012) to be published by Emerald Group Publishing Limited. The purpose of the conference is to bring together authors of papers, a small and highly regarded collection of scholars, for discussion, debate and feedback. The editors of the volume and conference leaders are Badi Baltagi (Syracuse), Whitney Newey (MIT), Hal White (UC-San Diego) and Carter Hill (LSU).
