    Port of Greater Baton Rouge

    Supply Chain Management – includes an Informations Systems and Decision Sciences concentration in supply chain management, an MBA specialization in supply chain management, executive education for general audiences and niche audiences (e.g., disaster supply chains), and the supply chain consortium that brings together business, government and academic leaders to share best practices and tackle tough supply chain challenges and opportunities in the Gulf Coast region. Important topics for this region include how to build and sustain global supply chain excellence, supply chain security especially as it relates to ports and intermodal transportation systems, and supply chain resiliency in a globally interdependent economy.

    Disaster Response Project

    Two professors from the Department of Information Systems & Decision Sciences in LSU's E. J. Ourso College of Business are developing a supply chain research project to help government and voluntary organizations make disaster response decisions. [MORE]
