ARTHUR G. BEDEIAN is a Boyd Professor at Louisiana State University, where he has been a faculty member since 1985. In 1988-89, he served as the 44th President of the Academy of Management. He is a former Dean of the Academy’s Fellows Group and a past recipient of the Academy’s Distinguished Service Award. A former editor of the Journal of Management, he is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Southern Management Association, the International Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology, and the American Psychological Society.
