Along with the New Year, the E. J. Ourso College of Business is celebrating yet another accolade. Much like the Flores MBA Program’s finish in the Top 10 of The Wall Street Journal last September, this most recent accomplishment brings with it national attention.

For a third consecutive year, an accounting team from the business college was a Top Five finalist. . .

For a third consecutive year an accounting team from LSU’s
E. J. Ourso College of Business reached the finals of PricewaterhouseCoopers Accounting Competition.

On December 21, 2006, LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business Associate Dean of MBA Programs David Crary presented diplomas to 31 individuals who completed the Flores MBA Program’s requirements via the executive track.

Lisa Geddes, Public Administration Institute graduate student and LSU Foundation employee, traveled to National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taipei, Taiwan to participate in the first ever international conference hosted by the Department on Public Administration at NCCU from November 27 through 29.

The Louisiana Business & Technology Center of the E. J. Ourso College of Business has developed a program called “The Business Incubator on Wheels” which conducts training programs and workshops on entrepreneurship in rural communities of Louisiana.
