SPNIOSA, SCOTT ROUND OUT SPRING DISTINGUISHED SPEAKER SERIES

J.T.“Tommy” Spinosa and Peggy Scott will visit LSU within a week of each other to wrap-up the Flores MBA Distinguished Speaker Series for this spring semster. Spinosa, owner and manager of JTS, addressed MBAs and guests Friday, March 16, 2007, while Scott, executive vice president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, will speak Friday, March 23, 2007.

DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS DOCTORAL STUDENT RECEIVES GRANT

Anca Alecsandru, a doctoral student in the Department of Economics at LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business, has been awarded a grant by the Davidson Data Center and Network to perform data collection from one or more countries with transition economies.
