EVAN M. BERMAN

LSU’s Evan M. Berman is the Huey McElveen Distinguished Professor in the E. J. Ourso College of Business’ Public Administration Institute. He is an award-winning scholar who is also the editor-in-chief of Taylor & Francis’ ASPA Public Administration and Public Policy book series, as well as the managing editor of Public Performance & Management Review. Recently, he received the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board’s Distinguished Lecturer/Scholar Award for visiting South Korea during spring/summer 2008.

ARJEN BOIN

Arjen Boin is the director of LSU’s newly established Stephenson Disaster Management Institute and associate professor in the E. J. Ourso College of Business’ Public Administration Institute. Most recently, Boin was the director of the  Leiden University Crisis Research Center in the Netherlands.

CAROLE L. JURKEWICZ

LSU's Carole L. Jurkiewicz is the Woman's Hospital Distinguished Professor of Healthcare Management in the E. J. Ourso College of Business' Public Administration Institute. She is an award-winning scholar who, in 2006, was named to a national task force established by the American Society for Public Administration to explore the governance issues and challenges that arose in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
