LSU's E. J. Ourso College of Business and the McMains Foundation are proud to present The Motley Fool on October 14, 2002. The presentation is part of the J. C. Greer Distinguished Speaker Series in Business Administration.

The Motley Fool is a leading financial media company founded by brothers David Gardner and Tom Gardner. The Gardners' presentation uses creativity to both amuse and educate individuals and help them achieve financial independence.

The Motley Fool originated as a newsletter on America Online and has grown to include the world's most popular online investment site, www.Fool.com. The Gardner brothers have also co-authored four New York Times best sellers and produce both a nationally syndicated weekly newspaper column and The Motley Fool Radio Show.

David Gardner graduated as a Morehead Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tom Gardner graduated with an honors degree in English and creative writing from Brown University.
