The E. J. Ourso College of Business and the McMains
Foundation will host Rich Karlgaard in the J.C.
Greer Distinguished Speaker Series in Business
Administration on March 15, 2005, at the Pennington
Conference Center at 4:30 p.m.
Karlgaard is the publisher of Forbes magazine.
In his Digital Rules column, Karlgaard writes
about technology, entrepreneurship, regional economic
development, and the future of business and work.
He also lectures on these subjects and is a regular
participant on the Fox News Channel’s Forbes
on Fox. His first book, Life 2.0, was published
by Crown Business in 2004 and became an instant
Amazon and Wall St. Journal business bestseller.
The J. C. Greer Distinguished Speaker Series in
Business Administration was founded in 1979 by
Union Life Insurance Company in memory of its
co-founder and president J. C. Greer. Past speakers
have included Gerald R. Ford, 38th President of
the United States (1992), David M. Brinkley, anchor
of ABC's This Week with David Brinkley (1994),
and Robert Novac, syndicated columnist and editor
(1996).
The J. C. Greer Distinguished Speaker Series is
