The E. J. Ourso College of Business' Louisiana Business& Technology
Center at LSU is hosting an informational seminar for
those
businesses that have been displaced as a result of
Hurricane Katrina. The program is being
co-hosted with the law firm of Taylor, Porter,
Brooks & Phillips L.L.P.
The seminar will take place at the Lod Cook
Alumni Center, in
Noland/Laborde Hall, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
on Friday, Sept. 16. The
Lod Cook Alumni Center is located at 3838 West
Lakeshore Dr. on the LSU campus.
The seminar will include overviews of the following
topics: applying for
financial aid for your business; insurance coverage
issues; managing
your debt and other commercial issues; tax relief
information; employment pointers; and getting
your business back
up and running.
Admission is free to business owners and managers.
