RUCKS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT SELECTS RUCKS FELLOWS FOR 2006-2007

December 5, 2006

Ten students in the management program at Louisiana State University’s E. J. Ourso College of Business have been selected as the Rucks Fellows for 2006-2007.

The newest Rucks Fellows include: Brad Doucet, Rebecca Gibbons, Dustin Mire, James Dubuisson IV, Brodrick Haygood, Adrienne Pizza, Keith Fernandez, Farrar Langlois, Leanne Ricciardi and Alexandra Smith.

To qualify for the Rucks Fellowship, recipients must be full-time students majoring in management, must rank among the top 10 management majors by cumulative grade point average and must participate in Rucks Fellowship activities such as award and recognition ceremonies.

Consistent with their standing as the department’s most outstanding undergraduate students, Rucks Fellows are afforded opportunities not available to other students. These include preferential enrollment in any management course or class section, frequent interaction with faculty and business leaders and special recognition during commencement exercises.

The Rucks Fellowship Program was established in 1998 and was named in honor of William W. Rucks IV and his wife, Catherine.
