Dow Jones & Company will host a short conference
entitled "Sweat the Details" on April 26 from 6 - 8 p.m. in
the Cook Conference Room
of the Lod Cook Alumni Center, located at 3838 West Lakeshore Drive
on
LSU's campus. The conference will be dedicated to pension fund
investments
and will be organized as a panel session.
The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business is handling arrangements for the
conference.
Topics of discussion will include details of a successful investment
program, what underlies performance reporting, analysis of tools for
measuring manager and fund performance, and any topics raised by
audience
members.
Representatives from Dow Jones & Co., Sandy River Investment Consulting,
Wilshire Associates Inc., the law firm of Tarcza & Associates L.L.C.,
and
Louisiana Assistant State Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer John
Broussard will speak.
