The Flores MBA Program of LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business held its annual MBA Honors Dinner Friday, April 20, 2007 at De La Ronde Hall to recognize outstanding students and faculty.
Awards were presented to first and second-year MBA students, and the following students received awards in recognition of their contributions to the Flores MBA Program:
Kevin McMillen, Second-Year MBA - MBAA Outstanding Officer; Emily Elizabeth Miller, Second-Year MBA - Outstanding MBA Graduate; Rowdy Gaudet, Second-Year MBA - MBA Leadership Award; Scott Lipps, Second-Year MBA - MBA Outreach Award; Rowdy Gaudet, Second-Year MBA - MBA Mentor of the Year; and Laura Wiltse, First-Year MBA - Outstanding First-Year.
Teacher of the Year Awards were presented to a professor of first-year students and a professor of second-year students. The following faculty members received awards:
Young Chun - First-Year Teacher of the Year and Scott Fargason – Second-Year Teacher of the Year
Additionally, students were recognized for their academic achievements. The following second-year students were distinguished as Flores Scholars: Berina Fazlic-Frljak, Thomas Andrew Whittington Jr., Emily Elizabeth Miller, William Patrick Guillot, Caleb Robert Morrow, Allison Erica McKee, and Jacques McKay Brousseau.
The night’s festivities included a cocktail hour, a buffet-style dinner, and a PowerPoint presentation with an assortment of amusing photographs of students and faculty taken throughout the school year.
