OFFICE OF ADVANCEMENT WELCOMES O’BEIRNE TO STAFF

The Office of Advancement in LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business has added Lisa O’Beirne to its staff as an associate director.
           
O’Beirne’s previous work experience includes serving as external relations coordinator at the College of Charleston’s School of Business and Economics in Charleston, S.C., manager of federal and external relations at the American Medical Group Association in Alexandria, Va., and legislative correspondent for U.S. Senator John Breaux in Washington, D.C. A native of Natchez, Miss., O’Beirne received her bachelor’s in public relations from the Manship School of Mass Communications at LSU in 1998.  
           
“As an LSU alumna, one of my goals is to increase the awareness of opportunities for alumni, friends and the business community to give back to the E. J. Ourso College of Business,” stated O’Beirne. “I look forward to using my current position to focus on building relationships and expanding our network with community leaders who have a vested interest in the students at LSU.”
