CHANEY TO END ADVISOR ROLE AFTER SUMMER

April 15, 2008

Courtland M. Chaney, J. Trigg and Bettye Baskin Wood, Jr. Endowed Professor and undergraduate advisor for management majors in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, will end his advisor role at the beginning of August 2008.
           
An employee of LSU since 1979, Chaney has served in this role for approximately 25 years. Even though he is stepping away from this duty, Chaney will remain the faculty advisor to the LSU chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management and as internship coordinator during the 2008-2009 academic year.
           
Laura Wolfe, an instructor in the Rucks Department of Management, will assume the duties of undergraduate advisor and honors advisor at the start of the 2008 fall semester. Beginning August 2009, Wolfe will assume all advising duties, including the management internship coordinator role.
