LSU Flores MBA student Scott Gray ranked in the Top 25 of all candidates – students and practitioners – on the international Certified Internal Auditor Exam administered in November 2007.
A native of Pearl River, La., Gray will graduate from LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business with his MBA in May and has already accepted a position with Deloitte as a consultant in Houston, Texas.
“Scott's hard work and dedication has paid off,” said Glenn Sumners, director of LSU’s Center for Internal Auditing. “His employer will be very pleased that he not only passed the CIA Exam, but received an award.”
David Crary, associate dean and director of the Flores MBA Program, also commented on Scott’s achievement.
“We are very proud of Scott for his outstanding performance on the CIA Exam,” Crary said. “He is a great example of the high caliber of students in the Flores MBA Program, and I’m sure that he will continue to enjoy great success as he enters the workforce.”
The CIA Exam is designed to test a candidate’s knowledge of current internal auditing practices and understanding of internal audit issues, risks and remedies. It is offered in four parts with each part consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions.
