Charles D’Agostino, executive director of the Louisiana Business & Technology Center, will give two presentations at the 22 nd International Conference of the National Business Incubation Association being held May 4-7, 2008. Some 750 participants from 27 countries will attend the event, the theme of which is Innovation for a Strong Economy and Healthy Planet.
On May 5, 2008, D’Agostino will give a presentation entitled Creating a Mobile/Virtual Tenant Program, which will feature the LBTC’s own Mobile Classroom and rural entrepreneurship program – Incubator on Wheels.
The following day, D’Agostino will make a second presentation entitled The Incubator’s Role in Small Business Innovative Research – Small Business Technology Transfer Grants and Technology Commercialization. This second presentation will highlight how the LBTC’s NASA programs and statewide technology programs stimulate technology commercialization and economic development in Louisiana.
