LSU’s Executive Development Program is now enrolling participants for its new four-week Executive Development Program. The first two-week session will be held September 29, 2008 through October 10, 2008, with the second two-week session will be held May 4, 2009 through May 15, 2009.
Designed to develop individuals so they can assume general and senior level positions in their companies, the curriculum for the Executive Development Program is intended mostly for high potential, middle-management executives with 10 or more years work experience where having a better understanding of business, management, leadership, and strategy concepts will enhance their organizational effectiveness and overall capabilities. Participants are also principals of small and medium size firms or owners of small companies with growth potential.
Half of the course will focus on a broad range of business functional areas (economics, finance, accounting, marketing, operations, and management) to enhance general management capabilities and expose participants to areas of management where they may have limited experience. The remaining half will focus on enhancing participants' skills in strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal skills, negotiations and innovation.
To obtain additional information and/or to register for the first two-week session of the Executive Development Program, please complete and submit the course application form at http://www.bus.lsu.edu/academics/mba/executive/registration.asp.
