Jill Roshto, an LSU graduate and student in the Flores MBA Program’s Professional Track, has been hired as director of development for the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute.
As director of Development, Roshto will act as a liaison between the academic programs of SEI and community leaders, specifically entrepreneurs interested in supporting the institute’s programs either financially or intellectually. She will also assist in raising funds to keep the institute’s current programs progressing and will seek to establish SEI as a self-sustaining entity.
“As an LSU graduate and a student in the Flores MBA Program, I am extremely proud to join the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute as the director of Development,” Roshto said. “The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute offers a wide range of programs that appeal to many sectors of our community—LSU undergraduates, graduate students, women, minorities and high-level executives. Entrepreneurial spirit must be fostered in individuals of all ages if Louisiana’s economy is going to continue to grow and compete in today’s increasingly complicated business world.”
The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, an integral part of LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business, was formed to inspire, innovate, integrate and implement new ways of thinking, education, research and outreach to positively impact students, the regional economy, the state of Louisiana and the nation. Various programs help to address the issues and challenges of entrepreneurship, family business and franchising.
