Joseph Buttross III and Darien Dabney, both seniors in LSU’s E. J. Ourso College of Business’ Rucks Department of Management, have been named members of the Tiger TWELVE Class of 2008. They were recognized at the Tiger TWELVE Class of 2008 ceremony and reception held Sunday, April 27, 2008 at the LSU Faculty Club.
Each spring, the university’s Office of the Dean of Students recognizes 12 outstanding graduating students who contribute positively to the life of the campus and surrounding community. The award recognizes students in each graduating class who are current, full-time students, have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 and have best demonstrated the basic principles outlined in LSU's Commitment to Community. Recipients are decided upon by the Tiger TWELVE Selection Committee.
This year, the Tiger TWELVE Selection Committee received 201 nominations and 107 applications for the honorary positions.
