    May 18, 2009

On Friday, May 15, 2009, 506 students received their degrees as part of the E. J. Ourso College of Business Diploma Ceremony. In all, 377 bachelor’s, 126 master’s and three Ph.D.’s were awarded.

“The alumni who have preceded you have made LSU’s presence felt in every corner of the globe,” E. J. Ourso College Dean Eli Jones said to the students in his parting remarks. “I urge you to draw inspiration from them. Become LSU’s ambassadors in your industry and ambassadors for the E. J. Ourso College wherever your career takes you.”

This year, the E. J. Ourso College’s Diploma Ceremony featured Entergy Louisiana President and Chief Executive Officer Renae Conley as its keynote speaker.
