Edward Watson, director and associate dean for Graduate Programs of the E. J. Ourso College of Business and director of the LSU Flores MBA Program, was mentioned in The Advocate’s Daily Digest article “LSU study focuses on Shaw Group,” regarding his recently published Harvard Business study.
Watson coauthored the case with Lynda M. Applegate, professor of business administration for the Harvard Business School. Together they studied the expansion of Baton Rouge-based Fortune 500 Company, The Shaw Group Inc.
“I wanted to write a case study about a successful company headquartered in Louisiana that I could use in the LSU MBA classroom, instead of resort to a case study about a successful company headquartered in the Northeast,” Watson was quoted as saying.
The article ran August 18, 2010, and can be read here.
