BATON ROUGE – In just a little over a week, the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business and the LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association-Louisiana Chapter will host Louisiana Looking Up 2010. Limited seating is still available.

As in years past, this year’s offering promises to provide attendees with usable and insightful business acumen that will accentuate Louisiana’s positive business news while serving as a venue to exchange business ideas and provide a premier networking opportunity.

The event will be held Thursday, September 16, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center, located at 3838 West Lakeshore Drive. A 30-minute reception will follow.

LSU E. J. Ourso College Dean Eli Jones will serve as the event’s moderator, and LSU Chancellor Michael Martin will appear as a special guest speaker. Louisiana Looking Up 2010’s keynote speaker will be Randy Ewing, owner and president of Ewing Timber Co. Scheduled to appear as panelist are:

• Holly Clegg, president and chief executive officer of Holly Clegg Inc.
• Perry Franklin, president of Franklin Industries LLC
• Tony Simmons, executive vice president of McIlhenny Co.
• Tommy Teepell, chief marketing officer of Lamar Advertising Co.
