ULTIMATE PMP CERTIFICATION PREP COURSE TO BE OFFERED IN SPRING

    October 21, 2010

BATON ROUGE–The LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute has announced that it will offer a Project Management Professional certification course April 11-15, 2011.

The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute will offer the course through the Project Management Institute, an organization recognized as the worldwide standard for measuring an individual’s core knowledge, understanding and application of project management principles and practices.

According to LSU Executive Education Director Robin Kistler, the course “prepares individuals for the wide ranging and complex knowledge tested on the PMP certification exam.”

“This course is for project managers, team leaders, functional managers, business planning personnel and anybody who wants to advance their career through project management certification,” Kistler said. “The only caveat is that we are limiting the class to 20 participants.”
Administered by a Project Management Professional, the class provides test-taking techniques and outlines the flow of the exam with interactive charts, flow diagrams, PMP formulas, application spreadsheets and much more.

A full description of the course can be read online here. There will be a discount for those who register prior to February 25, 2011, and to those who are members of the Baton Rouge Safety Council. Classes will be taught in Patrick F. Taylor Hall on the campus of LSU.
