BATON ROUGE –To commemorate the placement of the final steel beam in the E. J. Ourso College of Business’ future home—the Business Education Complex—a topping out ceremony was held today with some special guests.
In addition to LSU Chancellor Michael Martin and E. J. Ourso College Dean Eli Jones, Chancellor’s Office Executive Director Bunnie Cannon, Chancellor’s Office Director Jason Droddy and LSU Foundation Vice President for Development Jeff McLain were all in attendance. They joined college donors, including Sue Turner, Toni & Emmet Stephenson, Roy O. Martin III, Bill Slaughter and Jimmy Maurin in celebrating the gold-painted beam, which guests were encouraged to sign.
“This was the perfect day for this event,” Jones said. “We have nothing but blue skies, and we are very grateful for everyone who made today possible.”
