Louisiana Real Estate Commission Chair of Real Estate and Professor of Finance R. Kelley Pace was quoted in the recent Wall Street Journal article “Assessing the Gulf Impact.” The brief article explores the struggles that small businesses in the Gulf region are still contending with a year after the Deepwater Horizon explosion.

“Small business has a more pronounced effect on the economy here simply because there are few big corporate employers,” Pace is quoted as saying.
