E. J. Ourso Business College Council
The E. J. Ourso Business College Council exists for the purpose of providing the
college with views, ideas, and values of students, while at the same time
advancing and enhancing the college experience for business students. The
purpose and goals of the council are to improve students’ awareness of events within the college, to unify the organizations within the college to attain mutual goals, and to serve as a link between students and the administration. Students of the E. J. Ourso College elect the council during Student Government elections.

The Inter-Business Organization Council (IBOC) is an organization whose purpose
is to unify and organize efforts among the different business organizations;
to inform these organizations of events scheduled; and to provide input, advice,

Diplomats for Diversity
Information Flyer
The E. J. Ourso College of Business' Diplomats for Diversity is a
student organization established to assist the Minority Business
Program with the recruitment and retention of minority
undergraduate students.
Diplomats attend student activities on and off campus. In addition, they work with the coordinator of the Minority Business Program to develop programs that support and create community among
minority business and pre-business students. Diplomats also
mentor students enrolled in the Bridge to Success Program.

Omicron Delta Epsilon

Omicron Delta Epsilon is one of the world's largest academic honor societies.
The objectives of Omicron Delta Epsilon are recognition of scholastic attainment
and the honoring of outstanding achievements in economics; the establishment
of closer ties between students and faculty in economics within colleges and
universities, and among colleges and universities; the publication of its official
journal, The American Economist , and sponsoring of panels at professional meetings
as well as the Irving Fisher and Frank W. Taussig competitions.
Currently, Omicron Delta Epsilon has 578 chapters located in the United States,
Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Egypt,
France, and United Arab Emirates. With such a broad, international base, chapter
activities vary widely, ranging from invited speakers, group discussions, dinners,
meetings, etc., to special projects such as review sessions and tutoring for
students in economics. Omicron Delta Epsilon plays a prominent role in the annual
Honors Day celebrations at many colleges and universities.
