The
E. J. Ourso College of Business at LSU held its
2007 Spring Awards Reception on April 18, 2007
to honor the academic achievements of students
and to induct various students into honor societies
such as Beta Gamma Sigma.
The night’s main function was to recognize
the 2007 E. J. Ourso College scholarship recipients.
Students were also inducted into Beta
Gamma Sigma, a national scholastic honor society
dedicated to principles and ideals essential
to
a worthy life and commendable business career.
Lastly, two students were chosen as
nominees from the E. J. Ourso College for Phi
Kappa Phi, one of the most prestigious honor
societies in the nation, which promotes the pursuit
of excellence in higher education and recognizes
outstanding achievements by students and faculty
through election to membership, various awards,
and fellowships.
